LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a nationwide Managed Service Provider that is looking for a Remote CA Datacom Systems Programming Administrator. This individual will be responsible for upgrading and maintaining mainframe database software to support CA Datacom Environments. This is a contract opportunity with the possibility of extension or conversion and will is 100% Remote. We can support W2, 1099 and C2C. Remote CA Datacom Systems Programming Administrator Responsibilities: Implement and maintain software management best practices Configure and manage CA Datacom and related products Develop strategies and processes for CA Datacom systems programming Establish policies and procedures for database management, disaster recovery and security Review new versions of CA Datacom and related products to assess benefits for clients Collaborate with vendors to resolve problems and answer questions Perform disaster recovery for system and application databases Troubleshoot and resolve production database issues Administer and customize CA Datacom and related products Design databases and work with CA Datadictionary Monitor databases for space and performance using CA Sysview Utilize utilities for CA Datacom and related products Support planned and unplanned database recovery activities Remote CA Datacom Systems Programming Administrator Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 10+ years of experience in CA Datacom and related products for administration and systems programming support Experience in a large, 24x7 environment with strong prioritization skills Ability to effectively respond to support requests from multiple clients Willingness to provide after-hours on-call support Proficiency in writing, debugging and tuning SQL Previous experience in a CA Datacom environment If you have the experience listed above, possess a great attitude and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a stable and established employer, this is the role for you!
