We are looking for an IT Systems Administrator to join our team in Wenatchee, WA. Position SummaryAs a member of the Goodfellow Bros. IT team, the IT Systems Administrator while working under the direction of the IT Systems & Security Manager, will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of IT Systems. They will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the organization and to ensure systems comply with security standards. This position includes a combination of both onsite and remote support of systems and customers located in Washington, Oregon, California, and Hawaii.BenefitsWe offer employees (and their families) medical, dental, vision, disability, and basic life insurance. New hires also accrue fifteen days of vacation leave annually, receive ten paid holidays, and nine days of sick leave throughout the calendar year.Essential FunctionsSystemsNetwork AdministrationAdminister, troubleshoot, and perform regular maintenance for both on-premises and cloud-based solutions including (but not limited to) Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft SharePoint Online, Enterprise SPAM filtering, and Mobile Device Management.Develop and maintain documentation including system configurations, inventory, standard operating procedures, support procedures, diagrams, disaster recovery procedures, and implementation plans.Assist with procurement, installation, and management in all areas of network technologies such as routers, switches, Wi-Fi, gateways, data centers, VPN, network protocols (TCPIP and routing protocols), network management platforms, network sniffers, and IP Telephony (VOIP)System installations, hardware, and software upgrades, diagnosing, repairing and daily monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure optimal infrastructure performance and high availability.Assist with Enterprise Backup and Recovery administration.Recommend improvements to the organization's technology systems, services, and network infrastructure. SupportProvide high-quality and prompt level II technical support while serving as a member of the company's centralized IT Help Desk - responding to customer reported issues or questions via the IT help desk ticketing system, phone, instant message, email, or in-person.Act as an escalation point for other IT Team members.Possess a strong sense of integrity and a highly ethical approach to sensitive data and resource access.Work with third party vendors and developers to coordinate the resolution of problems and issues.Planning & MaintenanceDocument all significant changes using change management stall critical infrastructure patches and upgrades.Monitor system and service performance and proactively address potential issues.Perform after-hours and weekend maintenance as required to ensure maximum systems uptime.Collaborate with IT Systems & Security Manager in planning large scale infrastructure projects.Security & InfrastructureWorks with IT Systems & Security Manager to execute technology Infrastructure projects.Keeps knowledge of IT technology current, specifically as it pertains to network protocols and security best practices.Under guidance of IT Systems & Security Manager research and evaluate modern technologies to improve network performance, security and meet compliance requirements.Required Education, Experience, and Technical Knowledge Four (4) years' experience performing systems, network and database administration duties, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.Must have knowledge and experience working with various technologies including, but not limited to:Microsoft Server operating systems Microsoft Active Directory & Administrative Services and related domain servicesMicrosoft Office 365, Azure & cloud servicesMicrosoft Windows 10, 11 Teams, SharePoint Online, Intune, ZoomKnowledge of endpoint security management and best practicesKnowledge of mobile device managementKnowledge of email filtering services and email hygieneKnowledge of Server Virtualization Technologies (VMwareHyper-VNutanix)Knowledge of enterprise SAN and NAS technologie Microsoft PowerShell, Power AppsLinux operating systemsKnowledge of Microsoft SQL server administrationNetwork administration and troubleshooting Travel RequirementsThe travel requirement for this role is approximately 15% - 20% mostly consisting of scheduled travel by car to data center or offices in Washington and Oregon. Additionally, domestic travel by air andor to other company regions will be required on an occasional basis.
