Systems EngineerMust be Citizen or permanent resident of the United StatesPSI has a diverse team of electrical and embedded engineers who design, build, and test power distribution and control systems for our state-of-the art Imaging and Communication systems. We are searching for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development of our next generation RF-photonic devices and millimeter wave antenna systems.A successful candidate will:• Design new analog and digital control circuits that interface between MCUsFPGAs and RFPhotonic components. • Design complete power distribution from 110VAC to low voltage DC, and everything in between.• Draw schematics and lay out PCBs following industry standard design guidelines.• Work with PCB Fabrication and Assembly houses to manufacture new designs.• Work with Mechanical Engineers to integrate designs into mechanical models.• Assemble & rework PCBs and other circuits as needed.• Assemble and integrate cable assemblies with systems.• Be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and form creative solutions to unique problems.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar• 5+ years of industry experience designing circuits & PCBs• Ability to work in-person at an office in Newark, DE.• Experience with digital communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet) • Experience using general electrical lab equipment (multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:• Experience using Altium Designer• IPC CID certification is a plus• Experience writing firmware for embedded devices (STM32, Arduino, etc.)Job Type: Full-time (no remote work)Pay: $70K - $140K, depending on experience and degree levelBenefits:• 401(k) • Dental insurance (100% coverage)• Flexible schedule (minimum 6-hour days but require 40 hours per week)• Health insurance (100% coverage and 50% of deductible coverage)• Paid time off (Vacation, Federal Holidays, Sick Leave)• Vision insurance (100% coverage)• Short term disability insurance (100% coverage)• Relocation reimbursement (up to $5K in moving expenses)Ability to commuterelocate:Newark, DE 19713: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work
