As pioneers in sustainable manufacturing, we've developed groundbreaking technology that automates the entire garment production process - from fabric to finished product.We are a VC-backed startup with offices in Europe and New York.As a Mechatronics Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, working directly with our CTO Anton, to gain valuable experience and tackle challenging problems - together.This isn't just a job - it's an opportunity to make a real impact on the future of fashion.About You📝 What You'll DoRobot Programming: Lead the development and programming of robots within our mechatronic systems, ensuring our robots meet functional and efficiency standards.Firmware Development: Design, develop, and implement firmware for our robotic systems, focusing on writing clean, efficient, and reliable code that interfaces seamlessly with our hardware.Electrical and Mechanical Integration: Use your mechanical engineering insights to contribute to the design and development of our systems, bridging the gap between electrical engineering and mechanical design.PCB and PLC Design: Design and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) and program logic controllers (PLCs) as needed to support the functionality of our robotic systems.Continuous Improvement: Actively seek feedback from system deployments to inform future firmware updates, hardware improvements, and system enhancements.🤹🏻"â™‚️ What You Should Bring to the TableMust HavesEducational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.Professional Experience: 2-5 years of post-university experience, with a strong focus on the programming of robotic systems and mechatronics. Prior experience in a startup or a dynamic project environment is highly valued.Technical Skills:Proficiency in firmware development for robotic systems.Experience in electrical circuit design and PCB development as required.Knowledge of PLC programming for industrial applications.An 8020 mix of expertise in Electrical Engineering over Mechanical Engineering, with an overlap to ME being helpful.Startup Environment Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Your experience in startups or dynamic project settings will demonstrate your ability to adapt quickly and wear multiple hats when necessary.Hands-On Role: This position demands direct, hands-on involvement across development and implementation phases.
