Job Description:

Kennedy Jenks is seeking an ambitious and service-oriented Project Engineer in our Federal Way or Seattle offices with civil andor environmental waterwastewater experience to work in a hybrid environment. A successful candidate will play a vital role in evaluation and supporting design and construction of conveyance facilities relating to water, wastewater, recycled water, utility infrastructure projects and treatment process improvement projects.Key Responsibilities: Design and analysis; Prepare detailed design, specifications and drawings. Design calculations with support of senior team. Assist the Project Manager where needed.Provide technical support and expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams.Write technical reports and maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation.Project management; support projects from conception through construction coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Lead small projects and attend both internal and external meetings where necessary.Qualifications: Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or similar engineering field4+ years of related waterwastewater engineering experienceProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain PEExperience relevant software including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MictroStation, Civil3D and Microsoft productsKnowledge of industry standards, codes and regulationsStrong technical writing skillsKennedy Jenks supports a healthy work-life balance and utilizes a hybrid model of home and office work to empower our people to thrive and achieve their full potential.Salary range for this position is anticipated to be $80,000 to $110,000, and may vary based upon education, experience, qualifications, licensurecertifications and geographic location.Benefits summary: Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k, bonus opportunities, tuition reimbursement, professional registration support, a competitive PTO and holiday plan, and other benefits and programs.
