This position will be responsible for designing power, lighting, and fire alarm systems in facilities both large and small. This person should have an existing understanding of these systems and be capable of learning advanced design techniques, including high voltage, from other engineers within the company. This is not a remote position but may transition to partial remote work over time as concepts are mastered. ResponsibilitiesTo learn and work within company policies and procedures for engineering projects.Engineer electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities using programs such as AutoCAD and Revit.Perform engineering calculations including (but limited to) service sizing, lighting calculations, and voltage drop.Assemble drawing packages such as Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents.Meet with customers to review project requirements and design thoughts at the onset of each project.Actively respond to client communications if needed.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related fieldExperience with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Understanding of electrical building systems, design principles, and electrical one line diagrams.Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skillsStrong written and verbal communicationPossess a good work ethic and be efficient in job dutiesBenefitsMedicalRetirementPaid PTO and HolidaysExpense ReimbursementCompetitive base salary and bonus
