We are lean, entrepreneurial, fast-moving, and motivated by a desire to change how energy and electricity are delivered worldwide. We are looking for a driven, highly experienced individual with shared beliefs and passion to come and help drive the journey.As the IT Financial Analyst, the ideal candidate will be an Excel wizard adept at crafting detailed budgets and financial summaries and conducting variance analysis. This role is pivotal in supporting IT leadership with project budgeting and expenditure tracking while coordinating related activities with the Accounting and Finance departments.What you will do:Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts.Prepare and refine departmental and business unit allocation models for IT costs.Provide actionable insights through variance analysis to guide strategic decisions.Collaborate with IT leaders to prepare and manage project budgets and spending summaries.Process invoices and purchase orders and manage IT-related financial transactions with Accounts Payable.Maintain meticulous records to ensure financial summaries are accurate and error anize and manage IT contracts, ensuring timely renewals and adherence to terms.Operate in an environment where company-wide processes are still being developed or are evolving.Participate in and contribute to continuous improvement in budgeting, procurement, accounting, and general IT operational processes.Use end-user reporting tools to extract and analyze data.Perform additional departmental administrative tasks, including retrieving and analyzing data from various systems, such as IT asset management, ticketing, Active Directory, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or others, to help gather usage information.What you bring:Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting).Proven expertise in Excel and financial analysis.Strong understanding of core accounting principles to help apply costs correctly and collaborate with Accounting and Finance.Strong attention to detail and a record of producing error-free financial reports.Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, OTBI reports, and SQL queries is advantageous.Familiarity with IT asset management systems like FreshService is beneficial.Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related activities.Proactive approach to data quality and process improvement.Exposure to coding or programming (not mandatory but advantageous).What we offer:Expected Annual Base Salary Range: [$75,000 - $125,000]. Any offered salary is determined by several components, including, but not limited to, job duties, geographic location, market dataranges, applicant skills, and prior relevant experience.
