Natixis is looking for a director-level for the position of Network, Telecom & Security manager. The position requires a good understanding of the business requirements and to work within the change control process constraints; ultimately the primary role of hishertheir team is to serve the business and accommodate the end users. Heshethey will play a leading role in the management of the networks, telecomtelephony, and security infrastructure (Firewall) and the team responsible for their support and maintenance. Heshethey and hishertheir team will work closely with:Head Office teams (BPCE-IT) on networks, telecomtelephony and security related tasks and projects as well as BPCE group standards.Other AMER IT teams (Infrastructure, User support, IT Security, Production Application etc.)Natixis IT Platforms (APAC and EMEA) and BPCENatixis sister companies (NIM, Mirova etc.) The candidate should be able to demonstrate both strong technical capabilities and in-depth knowledge of various networks, telecomtelephony and security concepts, technologies, and best practices. The candidate should have the ability to convey in non-technical terms complex technical explanations related to problems, designs, etc.The job responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following: Technical support• Oversee the technical support for the network, security and monitoring systems.• Assist other Infrastructure engineers with network security related issues. • Oversee operational support issues and ad-hoc request processing.• Escalation point for support cases with various hardware software vendors, telecom providers carriers and work on the cases through complete resolution. Proactive system monitoring, analysis and documentation. • Oversee the analysis and monitoring of the network and security infrastructures components proactively, ensure maximum uptime in connectivity, reliability, redundancy, and operation effectiveness within the company network administrative domain(s).• Oversee the management and maintenance of an accurate inventory information for the network and security equipment and support contracts.• Control network and security technical administration documentation and maintain its accuracy, as well as the associated IT support and troubleshooting documents.• Work with internal and external IT auditors to provide necessary audit evidence and documentation.• Oversee the Management of the monitoring system(s) for the network and security infrastructures, develop monitoring requirements, maintain alerting and escalation policies, and produce periodic system health and utilization reports. Application integration• Coordinate work with other infrastructure teams, various application development groups, other members of global technical services, and with business unit representatives to oversee and coordinate new implementations, as well as providing ongoing support of applications in the network and security environment. • Oversee the analysis of the requirements, the design and implementation recommendations in accordance to company's standards and best practices, and the necessary documentation in the design, implementation, and system maintenance relevant to the applications. Network and security infrastructure engineering design and implementation project work• Validate documentation related project requirements, proposals solutions, budget, and ROI studies, • Oversee the management of project plans, their execution, and report project status from start to finish.• Ensure Enforcement of policies and procedures for projects and task management, exercise best practices in system installation, configuration, redundancy, and system monitoring.• Collaborate with the localglobal IT teams to accomplish short- and long-term goals, manage the project plan and execution processes, and actively participate in all project phases.• Escalation point for the remediation of the network and security environment issues on a regular basis in order to meet all business requirements.• Coordinate assessment of hardware and software upgrade needs and maintain the respective systems up to date in terms of current versions and patching levels.Requirements:• Bachelor's degree• Experience as technical lead or management lead for a team of network & security engineers.• Strong understanding of network technologies - L2, L3, switching, routing, LANWANVPN• Strong understanding of security technologies such as firewall, load balancing, proxy, authentication methods• Working knowledge of DNSDHCPWSG (Web Security Gateways), Proxy-pac scripting• Several Year of experience in troubleshooting know-how of network and security systems. Low-level (packet-level) network and application protocol analysis and troubleshooting experience is required.• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.• The successful candidate will need to have a good understanding of industry leading network and security technologies from a design, engineering, and troubleshooting perspective. The salary range for this position will be between $180,000 - $210,000. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
