Job Description:

RemX is seeking a Electrical Field Engineer based out of Queensbury, NY.$75k-$95k- 70% travel30% in office- Company Card, keep your points! Relocation considered.The Job: Serve customers by providing product installation, commissioning, maintenance, service, and instructions.The Details:Ensure products comply with, and are installed according to final build documentation, customer requirements and specifications.Start-up, commissioning, servicing, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of products, such as capacitor banks and filter banks, MVTVSS, snubbers, and MSP's.Maintain records by ensuring updating of product drawings, setup information and account information to reflect any changes made in the field.Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's issues; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution, verify and document corrective action.Document and report all customer complaints, errors, issues, recommendations, and suggestions to management.Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services available.Ability to oversee and perform trend analysis of the field service database.Maintain inventory levels of parts.Schedule routine maintenance with customer.Schedule startupcommissioning activities to maintain product delivery commitments.The Requirements:Electronics experience required.Background in electrical control circuit design and operation, 2 years experience.Familiar with lockout tag-out procedures.Engineering degree in a technical field.Experience with PLC's and protection relays.Knowledge of high voltage distribution design and systems.Ability to understand and accurately follow blueprints, electrical drawings.$75k-$95k- 70% travel30% in office- Company Card, keep your points!Relocation considered.
