Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace)Kent, WAWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or related roles, preferably with manned mission experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating build flows, processes, and tolerances for manufacturability, ensuring the seamless transition of designs into manufacturing work orders.RESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate build flows, processes, and tolerances to ensure manufacturability of aerospace components.Work closely with design teams to translate design releases into comprehensive manufacturing work orders.Align and validate Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and adhere to aerospace project milestones.Provide expertise and guidance in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues to maintain project timelines and quality standards.Continuously improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and municate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and requirements.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering or related roles.Hands-on experience with manned mission projects highly desired.Proficiency in evaluating build flows, processes, and tolerances for manufacturability.Strong understanding of EBOM alignment and validity.Experience in translating design releases into manufacturing work orders.Familiarity with the Critical Design Review (CDR) process and its significance in aerospace projects.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.As per ITAR regulations, only U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (green card holders) are eligible to access controlled technical data or technology.
