Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Helpdesk Technician to support their team! Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Answers IT help desk calls, manage help desk email account and ticket logging, follow-up and closureProvides computer hardware and software technical support both in person and remotely to all end usersPerforms software and application installation and upgradesProvides end user one-on-one trainingPerform basic end user account, permission and access administrationWork with applicable help desk related vendors and service providersContributes to technology guidelines, policies and proceduresParticipates and contributes to various IT Department projects and initiativesFacilitates use of equipment for various internal and external events Knowledge, Skills and Abilities RequiredA minimum of 2 years in a computer end user support roleProficient knowledge of firm wide standard hardware and softwareKnowledge of Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7 & Win 10) & Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Knowledge of PC hardware and peripheralsWorking knowledge of networks and clientserver technologyDemonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and skillsExcellent interpersonal skills and pleasant demeanorAbility to meet or exceed service levels of response and qualityMotivated and accountable with excellent communication skillsEffective organizational and time management skillsExceptional team player and leader with a customer service attitude
