Job Title: BAS Field Engineer - Programmer & Start UpJob Summary: The BAS Field Engineer will work with our clients on creating a database of control programs and systems, programming, and installing the Control Systems for the clients' buildings. This is a non-exempt position, subject to overtime and reports to the Field Engineering Supervisor.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Creating Controls Program and Systems Database - Working with Installation Team to cross check and document correct installation of wiring and control devices - Testing of control programs - Integrate system to on-board micro-processors - Documentation of systems' compliance with design - Provide control drawings to engineeringdrafting group - Provide test documentation to customer Qualifications: •Mechanical Engineering Degree preferred • 3-5+ Years Controls Experience • For the right candidate no experience necessary and we will train • Ability to read construction blue prints and electrical schematics • Knowledge of HVAC control systems required • Knowledge of electrical schematics required • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Windows XP, file structure, basic TCPIP network structure and web navigation • Knowledge of Visio a plus but not required • Knowledge of ALC and DISTECH Controls a plus • Clean Driving Record Required • Able to lift 30 lbs. • Excellent Interpersonal skills • Excellent oralwritten communication skills • Excellent customer relations skills • Excellent organization skills • Ability to problem solve • Team Player • Flexible • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Creative use of skills and resources to get the job doneWe offer our employees a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package and are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
