Cultivate Power is headquartered in Chicago, IL.Role DescriptionCultivate Power is seeking a highly motivated Senior Development Manager to oversee the development of solar projects in Illinois. This position will enable you to take the lead in developing and growing our large pipeline of solar projects and managing a team of developers. Your core responsibility will be to take sites from early-stage development to construction readiness and financial closings. An effective candidate will demonstrate sound industry and project development knowledge, superior leadership and communication skills, the ability to focus on minute details while still seeing the big picture, detailed organization, and a desire to solve complex problems.QualificationsFour-year Bachelor's degree in a relevant disciplineEnergy, engineering, or business-related Master's degree is a plus3+ years' experience required in energy infrastructure development, preferably community solar. Project management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skillsStrong organization and communication skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skillsStrong work ethic and ability to self-start in a fast-paced environmentResults-driven and solutions-orientedAbility to lead, manage, and mentor direct reports
