Job Description:

American Engineering is actively seeking Civil Engineer professionals in our Raleigh, NC office who are eager to be part of a growing engineering firm.As part of American Engineering, individuals will play a critical role within the design teams, creating solutions for projects within the Land Development and or Water Resources sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the design and development of a variety of civil engineering and land planning projects.RequirementsA bachelor's degree in civil engineering or something similar.Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience with AutoCAD and CAD Civil 3D.FE EIT preferred.Strong working knowledge in Civil drafting - road plans, commercial site plans, and residential subdivisionsAbility to communicate effectively both written and spoken.Experience with grading, drainage and stormwater management design, and erosion and sediment control a PLUS.Eager to learn and grow as an individual.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Strong attention to fortable working on-site.Willing to relocate or commute to the Raleigh area.
