Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions, is currently seeking a Service Technician to join their team in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago. This organization is looking to expand its team and needs someone who has worked in the security industry. Service Technician Responsibilities:Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the security requirements of commercial and residential propertiesInstall, configure and test security systems, including alarm systems, surveillance cameras, access control systems and intercom systemsTroubleshoot technical issues with security systems and perform repairs or replacements as neededProgram security systems to meet client specifications and integrate them with other components of the security infrastructureProvide training to clients on how to use and maintain their security systems effectivelyPerform regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure the ongoing functionality and reliability of security systemsStay informed about the latest advancements in security technology and industry trends to make recommendations for system upgrades or enhancementsCollaborate with other members of the team to ensure seamless integration of security systems with other IT infrastructure and servicesProvide exceptional customer service and support to address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally Service Technician Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent experienceMCSE, ITIL and Cisco certifications preferredIndustry knowledge and experience in security is preferredBasic knowledge of IT systemsMotorola video system certifications are preferred but not required1+ years of IT experience If you are interested in this Service Technician opportunity and feel you match the above criteria, please apply today!
