This includes driving the data and integration strategy for the organization ensuring the seamless flow and accessibility of data across various systems, applications, and business units. Additionally, the individual will define shared services to teach other functions the skills and techniques to fully leverage the platform and data assets.The position reports to the CIO and will help define the optimal internal roles and vendor partnerships to grow the capability.Essential Functions Statement(s)Leadership & Management Define future state technology road map and make recommendations to ensure effective investments are made to enable scale, quality, maintenance and overall cost effectiveness.Regularly assess the skills and capabilities and recommend actions to adapt when necessary.Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define and prioritize data-related initiatives that support business growth and municate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on data and integration initiatives.Collaborate with Master Data Manager to implement robust data architecture and governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.Stay current on industry trends and the use of emerging technologies that can contribute business value.Budget and manage financial plans as directed, while maintaining an awareness of industry benchmarks to serve as a basis of comparison.Manage vendor relationships on an operationalproject level, ensuring effective integration into overall IT capabilities.Provide strategic guidance on leveraging data to drive business insights and innovation.Solutions DeliveryLead design, implementation, and management of scalable data solutions for ingesting, transforming, and storing diverse data sets from various sources into enterprise data infrastructure.Provide guidance to delivery teams to ensure effective designs for data solutions, with an emphasis on speed, scalability, reliability and effective cost management.Manage detailed resource plans, forecasts and expertise needs of internal and external resources; contribute to planning of strategic skill mix decisions.Provide periodic leadership updates on delivery status of key initiatives.Drive the development of interactive and insightful reports and dashboards for various business units that will enhance decision-making.Position Qualifications:EducationBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience10+ years in a technology leadership role overseeing data and integration functions.Expert knowledge of cloud data architecture, governance, and integration technologies.Experience with BI tools, applications for automation, analytics, reporting and database technologies, and programming languages.Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, consumer products and distribution industries. The annual salary for this role based in Chicago is $145,000 to $155,000. The annual salary for this role based in Wilmington, OH is $135,000 to $145,000. The annual salary for this role based in Scranton, PA is $130,000 to $135,000.
