Job Description:

Processing PayrollManage & communicate payroll-related deadlines and processes with relevant managers and employees for both USA and Canada.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all payroll-related changes and inputs are collected and implemented accurately and on time (ex: raises, bonuses, stipend payments, timesheet completion, benefits changes, unpaid time, retirement, etc.)Respond to payroll, benefits enrollment, and retirement inquiries from employees, managers, and external stakeholders with urgency and empathyReview & respond to employees' reimbursement requests, ensuring that all requests adhere to reimbursement policyAccurately implement wage garnishments and other required deductions, and send necessary notifications to the affected employees in a timely mannerEnsure accuracy of staff compensation through strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with managersSubmit payroll-related reporting to external benefits vendors. Compensation AccuracyEnsure all staff are paid a fair and equitable wage in compliance with our policies and local, state, and federal regulationsEnsure accuracy of staff compensation through strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with managersRegularly audit and report out staff compensation to ensure compensation structures are fair and consistentAdjust compensation due to raises, bonuses and role changesEnsure end of year tax forms are accurate and distributed to current and former employeesRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay clarifications or corrections Benefits AdministrationExecute new hire benefits enrollment, annual open enrollment, and special enrollment eventsEnsure employee benefits elections are reflected accurately in all systems and reportsSupport benefit administration, including employee benefit changes, reporting to carriers, and billing needs Compliance & Data ReportingEnsure organization-wide compliance with policies related to compensation and local, state, and federal wage & labor regulationsComplete required external compliance reporting, including EEO, audit requests, etcFulfill internal or external data requests, such as worker's compensation income reporting and income verification requests, thoroughly and in a timely manner while maintaining appropriate confidentialityEnsure end of year tax forms are accurate and distributed to current and former employees Professional ResponsibilitiesMeet professional obligations including and not limited to meeting deadlines and honoring schedules.Collaborate with colleagues and seek feedback in the spirit of continuous improvement.Reflect on professional practices to meet individual professional development goals.Actively participate in professional development and department meetings.Share candid, solutions-oriented feedback with peers and leadership on a regular basis.Maintain strong attendance each day and be on time to all responsibilitiesOther duties as assigned
