Job Description:

Position Title: Assistant Vice President of Human Resources and Admin to the Chairman & CEOReports To: President DESCRIPTIONPrepare career advertisements, interview candidates, establish compensation ranges, prepare annual appraisals, review and update employee handbook, and manage Affirmative Action Plan with Hudson Mann while monitoring data and compliance with same. Comply with all government regulations and communicate them to the appropriate staff. Review and administer all group insurance plans for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and FSA. Assist employees when necessary. Plan and assist in corporate events and recreational activities.RESPONSIBILITIESExecute all components of HR functional management, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and employee engagementConsult and guide managers in performance coaching and disciplinary discussions, written performance documentation, administration of performance improvement plans, mediation and conflict resolution between managers and employees, and performance of workplace investigationsImplement and internally communicate HR policies and proceduresReview, research, and issue written updates to the Employee Handbook, using Handbook Builder to bring Bank policies and procedures into compliance, to keep policies and programs relevant in the market, and provide guidance to managers and employeesMaintain all employee records, back-up the payroll function, maintain ADP payroll portal, process new employee onboarding, and manage all FMLA requestsManage Shareholder account dataOrganize meeting and prepare documentation for the monthly Board of Director meetingsProvide administrative support to the Chairman & CEOPerform other duties as assigned by the PresidentQUALIFICATIONSRelevant undergraduate college degreeContinuing professional HR educationKnowledge of BSAAML banking regulationsMicrosoft Office, ADP Payroll System, Adobe Acrobat, InternetAlbank is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
