Our client, a manufacturing company in the West Suburbs of Chicago, is seeking a driven and experienced HR Director to join their growing team! As the HR Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR strategies. The ideal HR Director will have exposure in an hourly-heavy environment with exposure in recruiting, onboarding, offboarding and the employee life cycle. They should be knowledgeable about payroll, benefits and employee relations. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional communication skills. HR Director Responsibilities:Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectivesAssist with onboarding, offboarding and training. Be the subject matter expert on all employee relations investigationsProvide guidance and support to supervisors and employees on HR-related matters for corporate and hourly employeesImplement performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance evaluations and career development plansManage open enrollmentIdentify training and development needs, coordinate training programs and facilitate employee skill enhancement initiativesEnsure compliance with training requirements and regulationsMaintain a thorough understanding of employment laws, regulations and best practices HR Director Requirements:Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or a related field requiredAbility to work fully in-person in the West Suburbs of Chicago8+ years of HR experience in an hourly-heavy, blue-collar environment (manufacturing, distribution, logistics, etc.)Strong interpersonal skills If you are a dedicated HR Director with a passion for driving positive change and supporting employees, please apply today!
