OPEN TO ALL U.S. CITIZENSTitleSeries Grade: Engineering Tech - GS-0802-11Salary: $72,553 - $94,317Work Schedule: Full TimeAppointment Type: PermanentlyService: CompetitiveLocation: Kittery, MaineDuties:You will prepare and evaluate installation energy metrics and conduct briefings to a wide range of people and diverse audiences.You will develop and oversee the Building Energy Monitor program, including providing training and guidance.You will coordinate training for design professionals, maintenance personnel, and installation personnel on energy technology and efficient operations.You will recommend funding strategies and bundling of projects for execution, and collaborates with others to develop acquisition strategy. Conditions of Employment:Must be a US Citizen.Must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.Must be determined suitable for federal employment. This is a bargaining unit position.Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs. Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:The incumbent serves as the Installation Energy Manager (IEM) and ensures development and execution of a comprehensive energy program overseeing complex engineering solutions to energy conservation, renewable energy and energy requirements.
