To learn more about our innovative school visit our website ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the Expanded Learning Program Coordinator, the Extended Care Program (ECP) Site Supervisor performs a variety of planning, supervision, and people management duties. The following is a list of primary duties and responsibilities. Other duties to be assigned as needed. Communicate effectively and professionally with ECP staff, Principal, ECP Coordinator, enrichment providers, and familiesDesign after school program schedule and calendar Coach and support staff in planning and implementation of engaging and developmentally appropriate academic, enrichment, and recreational activitiesResponsible for maintaining student and staff safetyMaintains and orders ECP site supplies and equipmentMaintains and updates records including student attendance, snack sheets, and staff timesheets Monitor and collect late fees for daytime and after school late pick-ups Coordinate after school classroom use for ECP, enrichment, and other after school activitiesMaintain organization and cleanliness of spaces used after school Responsible for closing and securing the school site at the end of the day Performs other duties as assignedQualifications & Desired CharacteristicsHigh school diplomaAssociate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is a plusExperience working in camps or afterschool programs in a leadership roleBasic computer skills including Google Suite applicationsAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both orally and in writing; fluent in EnglishAbility to speak Spanish, Mandarin, or other secondary language is a plusStrong organizational, time management and multitasking skillsSuperb interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with individuals from a variety of backgroundsFlexibility and adaptability to change; ability to work in a dynamic, creative, and start-up learning environmentBelief and commitment to Yu Ming's mission and core valuesPhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Common building hours are 8:00am-6:00pm, should be able to work between the hours of 10:30am-6:00pm. COMPENSATION $25-$27hr.
