The company is recognized for their broad assortment of quality products and commitment to customer focused solutions and service.SUMMARY:The Supply ChainScheduling Rotational Program is an onsite entry level position designed to provide a unique experience across various business functions to develop future leaders of the organization. Team members will rotate through various functions within supply chain and production scheduling to fast track their professional development and create opportunities for long-term career advancement. Team Members will be supported by a single point of contact manager to lead and mentor you through this rotational role as you expand your knowledge on the company's supply chain. Team members will be responsible in learning and managing procurement, vendor relations, supply strategy and production scheduling in their rotational role. RESPONSIBILITIES:ProcurementManage the plant's raw material goods inventory ensuring transparency of spendingGenerate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategiesBalancing of order and deliveries of open purchase ordersWork with Accounts payable to balance payments of purchases orderAnalyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditureInvent negotiation strategies and secure profitable dealsOptimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiencyCooperate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processesResearch and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliersPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingEstimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniquesDiscover and partner with trustworthy vendors and suppliersDetermine quantity and timing of deliveriesAssisted raw material purchasingScheduling Works with supply chain manager and analyses demand forecast, current sales orders, and past orders to determine future customer requirements and ensure all materials, labor are in-house to meet the upcoming manufacturing scheduleWorks supply chain to ensure proper inventory of all production materials onsite when required.and publishes a weeklydaily production schedule for multiple manufacturing cells ensuring all materials and tooling are available to execute production plans per the schedulewith customer service and transportation to ensure order fulfillment and tracks and trends customer shortages and adjust schedules to meet customer ordersschedule adherence is followed by manufacturing teamand analyzes reports as requestedin daily physical inventory counts and inquiressystem and process problems related to scheduling and recommends corrective actionsOther duties as assigned by management team REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or related field.Strong Excel skills and familiar with balancing pivot tables, xlookup and complicated Excel functions.Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.Strong project management and leadership skillsAbility to negotiate and sustain networking fortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.Chain or general business internship or related experience.experience participating in a team environment.level of initiative for excellence, results, and process improvementinterpersonal skills to work with individuals at all levels within the businessbusiness communication and job task organizationprioritization.
