General Manager - United Airlines VIP Lounge - Chicago O'Hare Airport An experienced hospitality professional is required for this high-profile role at one of the top 10 largest employers in the world! To be successful, an individual that is service-minded and enjoys a fast-paced food and beverage operation.The General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, holds duties related to the day-to-day operations of a Company account. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; the ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations, and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills. Salary- $100,000 - $110,000 - Based on skill and experience.Lounge Hours - 5:00 AM - 11:00 PM --365 days a year!This position will require a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.*Experience in a high-end, luxury service or hospitality environment is required.*5 years of support services, in food & beverage roles.*At least 5 year of supervisory experience in a support service-related field with high customerclient contact.*Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations.*Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.*Ability to maintain organization in a changing and stressful environment.*Exhibit initiative, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership.*Proficient computer skills.Key Responsibilities: Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the accountManages overall day-to-day operations of the accountConducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminationsOversees scheduling, payroll, and team trainingMaintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Clients as well as other departmentsWorks with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top-quality foodRolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary teamPreferred Qualifications: BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferredFive years of foodservice operation experienceHigh volume production and catering experience is essentialPrevious experience managing a budgetDesire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice companyCompass Group USA, the industry leader in Food & Beverages offers:Tuition AssistancePaid Time OffDiscounted MealsFitness CenterCompetitive SalaryCompetitive Benefits PackagesGrowth Advancement and Career OpportunitiesWork StabilityAnd so much more!
