ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSeeking a Junior Packaging Designer specializing in packaging design to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide range of at home products from cosmetics and skincare to pillows and gift bags in a quick-to-market environment. In this role, you will work directly with the creative team and project managers from concept all the way through print. An ideal candidate has a portfolio that exemplifies a genuine interest in theat home space beautycosmetic industry and current market trends, with a versatile aesthetic demonstrating a strong command of composition, color judgment, typography, and hierarchy.Developing new looks and ideas based on specific project briefs and inspiration.Create mock-ups from scratch in AiPSMaintain consistency throughout brand guidelines and collections.Collate the correct assets from the teams (i.e., product copy & claims, product references, dimensions, and weights)Adhere to all creative timelines and ensure the artwork is released in a timely manner.Produce print-ready files and tech packs for suppliers. Perform related duties as assigned. COMPETENCIESMust have 1-3 years of full-time experience in graphic design (packaging preferred)Proficiency in Adobe CC, primarily Illustrator & PhotoshopMust have a portfolio and proven experience in packaging design.Strong attention to detailStrong organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, creative environment with tight deadlines and quick turnaround.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, or related field with 1 years' experience; or an associate degree with 2 years of Industrial Design andor Graphic Design; or 3+ years Industrial Design andor Graphic Design or related experience
