Alts (fka Alteration Specialists) of New York is looking for a Lead FitterTailorWe are looking for a dynamic professional FitterTailor, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include fittings, sewing on the machine, building client relationships and supporting the tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in New York, with salary, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth.ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management and FittingsMaintain a professional, warm, welcoming studio environmentConduct Fittings according to the Alteration Specialists StandardBuild relationships with clients, influencers, brands and stylistsMake every client feel welcome, and confident in the skills of you and your teamMachine Production and SewingDemonstrate that you are meeting personal production targetsCultivate proficiency with mens, womens, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabricsAnalyticsConstantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organizationInform front desk of all re-alterationsKeep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracyAttributesYou are a skilled communicator.
