Overview:Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Manager to join our team. The Manufacturing Manager will report directly to the General Manager and will play a pivotal role in directing and coordinating various activities across our organization. This role involves managing the Operations, Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), and Quality teams, working closely with the General Manager and collaborating with Engineering, Reliability and Maintenance teams. The Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for formulating and administering operational plans that drive growth, ensure business objectives are met, and ultimately contribute to achieving operational excellence and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Directly manage and lead the Operations, Safety, and Quality teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Operational Planning: Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement operational plans that align with the company's growth opportunities and business objectives.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the progress of operational activities, regularly assessing performance and identifying areas for improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering and Reliability and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless coordination between operational and maintenance activities, enhancing overall efficiency.Quality Assurance: Oversee the Quality team's efforts to maintain high standards of productservice quality, ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and guidelines.Safety Compliance: Lead the Safety team in developing and implementing safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.Risk Management: Identify potential operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, enhancing the organization's resilience and adaptability.Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate operational processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance productivity.Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with teams to ensure that operational activities are aligned with customer expectations, aiming to consistently delight customers and exceed their needs.Budget Oversight: Work within allocated budgets, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency.Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the General Manager and senior leadership on operational performance, challenges, and opportunities.Collaborative Leadership: Partner with all stake holders to lead tiered operations teams across multiple fluential Leadership: Ability to lead indirect reports and ensure that the team is functioning optimally with the utmost efficiency.Visionary Leadership: Able to plan long range strategic objectives while maintaining tactical oversight with active problem solving.Sound Judgement: Clear and concise decision-making capability. Data driven reasoning.Results Orientated: Set goals and expectations and manage project planning to obtain needed results. Manage rewards and corrective actions as needed.Materials Management: Manage the Inventory Control process and constraint management to ensure delivery on time. Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles for Inventory Management.Resource Planning: Optimize manpower levels. Strategize to see gaps to be flexible to move people or hire based on workload volume.Qualifications:Ideal Candidate Will Have:EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.Technical degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or material science preferred.Lean Six Sigma green belt, black belt or certification from a corporate system preferred.ExperienceExperience in an automotive manufacturing environment at a minimum, but a fast paced manufacturing environment is a must
