Infosys is seeking a Design Engineer: Aircraft InteriorsCompletions. This role will apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.Required QualificationsCandidate must be located within commuting distance of Appleton, WI or willing to relocate.Bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Min 2 Years of experience in Aircraft InteriorsCompletions Design.U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply, we are unable to sponsor at this time.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Interior cabin layouts and configuration. Understand and ability to use LOPA and other engineering drawings. Design and modification of cabinflight compartment furnishings- 1.Seats, lavatories, galleys and cabinets 2.Ceilings, overhead stowage units, passenger service units. 3.Sidewall lining, insulation and panels. 4.Flooring covering, raceways and escape path lighting. 5.Doors and slides, Emergency equipment.Design work includes the creation of drawingsmodeling using CATIA and SmarTeam while employing design standards and accepted design methods.Prepare, analyze and present 3D models at design reviews and to assist selection of preferredselected directions.Proficient in CATIA V5 and SmarTeam Experience in AutoCAD will be an advantage.Knowledge of Aircraft Interiorscompletion industry and standards will be preferred. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
