Job Description:

Seeking a Surgery Program SupervisorResponsibilitiesOversee surgical model development program management including technical and operational elements: quality (surgical technique, surgical output, complaint resolution, CAPA), surgeon training.Work closely with sales to identify and respond to opportunities and to ensure quick response to customer inquiries.Working with Operation Leaders, oversee designated surgical technicians for development of surgical modifications.With close interaction with the Operations Leaders develop and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and metrics to drive continuous improvement and accurate reporting surgical performance.Set strategic direction for the global surgery business, including evaluating and launching new techniques and procedures to deliver profitable growth.Be a "surgical thought leader." Present surgical capability to the market through direct interaction with customers, including field visits as necessary, presentations at congresses and marketing promotion (webinars).Consult with customers regarding study design, protocol development, animal models, species selection and special requirements for the development and use of animalsurgical models.Responsible to monitor product line performance and communicate with senior management, sales and finance to understand key market and customer drivers and results. Provide market input into operations planning.QualificationsMinimum qualifications include BS or LicensedRegisteredCertified Veterinary TechnicianMS or DVM (or equivalent) strongly preferredDemonstrated experience in clinical veterinary medicine and surgicalanesthesia procedures.LATg certification andor certification through the Academy of Surgical Research strongly preferred.Five or more years of pharmaceutical or other laboratory animal industry experience.Adaptabilityflexibility to thrive in a dynamic, customer-driven environment in a competitive marketplace.
