Asphalt Chemist- Chicago, IL Experienced Chemist - Asphalt, Asphalt Emulsions and Polymer modified AsphaltResponsibilities:·        Development of new products.·        Oversee the research work in the asphalt lab.·        Testing and Data Analysis.·        Assisting plant and field people with troubleshooting·        QC products.·        DOT interaction.·        Recognize and solve problems affecting production.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ·        Experience asphalt industry - Asphalt, Asphalt emulsion and polymer modification of asphalt.·        Five plus years related experience.·        Advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Asphalt, Polymer Chemistry is preferable.·        Proven ability to successfully achieve and exceed goals.·        Must have high energy and be able to adapt to a changing environment.·        Thorough understanding of safety requirements, and able to respond to normal hazards and take appropriate precautions.Education:·        Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry or similar field.·        Computer skills mandatory.
