Today, BAC provides mental health and substance use-related social services, comprehensive HIVAIDS care, and coordinated health care and supportive services to under-served racial and ethnic minority communities in the Brooklyn and other parts of New York City.Bridging Access to Care, Inc. offers a competitive salary package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Substance Use Services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing oversight for the day to day operation of the First Steps 822 Substance Use Clinic. Responsible for supervising front line staff, coordinating coverage, problem solving, and overseeing daily operations at the First Steps 822 Substance Use clinic. Responsible for evaluating clinic compliance, monitoring and reporting. Assists in projecting, developing, and monitoring revenue. Works to proactively ensure that clinic improves performance through trusted and proven management strategies. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under supervision of the Director, responsible for the hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, and corrective action of paid and volunteer personnel (interns). Provides weekly Supervision to program staff Submit daily, weekly and monthly statistics with expected deliverables Provides individualgroup counseling as needed Ensures Clinic deliverables are met. Assists with completion of reports Createsforms linkage agreements with potential referral sources. Assist with chart reviews and day to day clinical oversight of clinic Assist with development, planning and implementation of strategies to manage program growth and ensure self-funding and sustainability of the program. Regularly review and conduct assessment of applicable legal and professional requirements and monitoring treatment plans for clients. Initiate, implement and monitor compliance with evidence-based practices. Work effectively with staff to develop an efficient billing system. Regularly provide clinical training to clinical services staff and interns. Recruitment of clinical interns and development of linkages for referrals, conduct outreach and maintain working relationships with graduate schools and referral sources. Understand and follow all policies and procedures of the department. Facilitates weekly team meetings Participates in assigned internal committees Attends external meetings as assigned, including but not limited to: Reentry Council and Coalition of Behavioral Health OASAS meetings Supervises and coordinates interns as part of BAC's Clinical Internship Program Weekly Data Entry into the PAS system for OASAS Other duties as assigned based on program needs.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Understanding of Harm Reduction and its core principles. Understanding of Trauma Inform Practices Proven experience understanding and demonstrated ability to generate revenues for clinical services. Experience with Medicaidmanage care and other types of client billings. Knowledge of OASAS regulations. Experience working in the community and knowledge of community resources. A strong written and oral communication skill is necessary. Must be reliable and consistent with attendance and punctuality to work. Ability to work flexible hours some evening and Saturday hours are required. EDUCATION:MINIMUM: Masters of Social WorkServicesWORK EXPERIENCES:MINIMUM: Three (3) years providing clinical supervisory experience required.MINIMUM: Three (3) years experience working in clinicalsubstance use program.LICENSURE: LMSW Required, LCSW Preferred CERTIFICATION: SIFI or willingness to obtain SIFI
