Job Description:

RN First AssistJob Description Surgical First Assist (RN) $30,000.00 Sign on Bonus (first half paid on first paycheck & second half paid on 1 year anniversary) Evaluates perioperative patients and plans, implements and documents surgical nursing care. Performs surgical procedures under supervision of a surgeon. Functions in a scrub and circulating nurse role. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unitdepartment. Requires an associate's degree, certification as a registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA), certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR), and at least 2 years of operating room experience. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Call is required.
