PROBATION: All persons, including current City employees, selected from this position will be on probation for 6 months. CLASS DESCRIPTION A Registered Nurse - School Health (10 Months) cares for patients in schools clinics, homes, and other community settings under the direction of a nursing supervisor or other health professional. Work of this class involves no supervisory duties or responsibilities . Incumbents receive moderate supervision from a technical superior. Employees in this class work a conventional workweek. Work is performed in schools, clinics, homes or other community settings where incumbents may encounter illness, disease or stressful situations.
