Come find out why our employee-owners love working at ITP.Job Responsibilities for a Service Technician / Diesel MechanicWork schedule: Monday - Friday, NO WEEKENDSThe position will involve, but not be limited to, the following:Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on class 6 to class 8 heavy-duty trucksExcellent troubleshooting capabilities within all heavy-duty truck and trailer systems componentry. For example: hydraulics, engines, electrical, drive train, suspension, HVAC, braking systems, etc.Proactively maintain a safe and clean work environmentWork independently, as well as part of a teamRequirements:Candidates must have mechanical ability/ skills/ knowledgeValid driver's licenseAbility to lift up to 50 poundsOwn toolsAbility to read & understand manuals/ diagramsPreference given to candidates who are self-motivated, detail oriented, strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly, and a desire for career advancement.Competitive pay and excellent benefits.
