The company is headquartered in Houston, Texas.We are looking for highly-motivated individuals who enjoy working as part of a team in a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment.Job Responsibilities:Review and respond to third party utility inquires; log each response and maintain database of actionsUtilize extensive Chart of Accounts to accurately code and process complex payable invoices, check requests, and expense reportsSummarize land agreement basic terms for Land Department management reviewReview proposed land agreements and notate any inaccurate or objectionable termsResearch property records to determine current and historic ownershipDraft professional business correspondenceWork with Risk Management to acquire insurance certificates and bonds for land agreements; maintain records for allAssist with damage settlement payments and claim denials; maintain records of all decisions and paymentsGeneral office duties as needed including mailing, filing, supply ordering, copying, scanning, phones, assisting Land ManagerKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in one or more of the following industries: real estate, land development, and pipeline or utility construction/operationMinimum 3 years of experience in right-of-way/land records administration or similar role preferredAbility to read and understand land records, title reports and land surveysAbility to read printed maps and navigate online mapsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsEffective customer service skills, the ability to react and shift priorities quickly while remaining efficient in a fast-paced organizationAbility to proactively plan and prioritize administrative requirementsAbility to process and complete expense reportsQualifications:Valid driver's license with a clean abstractCleared criminal history (background) and satisfactory reference checksCompliance with the Company's drug and alcohol policy including pre-employment D&A testingCompensation:The pay range for this role is $34.03 - $40.04 USD hourly depending on relevant work experience and educationOur compensation includes a generous benefits package that begins on day one of employment #PlainsAt Plains, our employees are our most valuable asset.
