Specifically, you will:Perform field repair of HVAC/ Refrigeration systems throughout the parksTrain in general system operations and functions, as well as procedures and routinesComplete all scheduled preventive HVAC maintenanceComplete all required documentationMaintain proficiency in all manufacturing manuals related to Park HVAC equipment.Maintain inventory control and review ordering needs with leadershipKeep working areas neat, clean, and tidyComplete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelinesMaintain department standards performance in terms of attendance, performance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirementsPerform other miscellaneous duties as required What it takes to succeed: High school diploma or equivalentTechnical trade school or equivalent experience with an emphasis on HVAC/ RefrigerationAt least 2 years of practical HVAC/Refrigeration experience or combination of HVAC/ Refrigeration experience & trade school experienceKnowledgeable in the reading of and working from blueprints and/or drawingEPA Universal level certificationExperience in HVAC ControlsValid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver's licenseAbility to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistanceAbility to repetitively climb stairsComfortable working at heights up to 100ftAbility to climb and work off of laddersComfortable with exposure to noise and vibrationsAbility to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremesAbility to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremes, with or without A/CMust be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts including weekends and holidays What else is important: HVAC/Refrigeration controls experience preferredVFD knowledge and troubleshooting experience preferredHVAC/Refrigeration maintenance of food service equipment preferredExperience with Commercial refrigeration preferred .Mechanical engineering is a plusCompensation: $27.00 per hourThe perks of the position:Paid Time OffComplimentary Park Tickets and PassesPark Discounts on Food and MerchandiseMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401K Retirement planVoluntary InsuranceLife InsuranceDisability BenefitsTuition ReimbursementDependent and Health Care Flexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramLegal Assistance PlanEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
