Job Summary Provides professional nursing care for patients in the Infusion Center following established standards and practices.  The Registered Nurse in the primary nurse role is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process to provide nursing care for the patient throughout their life span.  He/She assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care delivered on their shift.  Seven-day coverage including holidays and weekends is required.  Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient's status.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department.   Education and/or Experience Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, baccalaureate degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience is desirable, but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration   Current license to practice in the state of South Dakota. CPR is required. Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate is required within 6 months of hire.   Work Schedule Day shift; 72 hours every 2 weeks Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Occasional weekend (Every 11th weekend in St. Lukes Outpatient) Occasional holiday (Every 11th holiday in St. Lukes Outpatient) Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
