Additional Information About the Role The Interventional   Radiology Unit (outpatient/inpatient)  at Christian Hospital Northwest is searching for a full-time position  for RN for Interventional Radiology  to assist in IR Coordination and IR procedures.  This position will also cover time off.  See additional information below for your reference.   Up to $15,500.00 Sign-On Bonus Benefits Eligible 37.5 Hours per week (Full- Time) Monday-Friday 5 shifts - 8 hours, rotating any one of 3 shifts (7:00am - 3:00pm) (7:30am - 3:30pm) (8:00am - 4:00pm) Rotational call 1-2 days per week, rotational Holidays call schedule. Call Rotation every 4th weekend (7:00am - 7:00am) Saturday- Sunday OTHERWISE weekends and holidays off. ADN required. BLS required. Day to Day Responsibilities: Moderate sedation exp. The ability to access patient's ports Familiarity with various heart rhythms. The ability to start IV's successfully. The ability to insert and remove foleys Knowledge of EPIC charting System Excellent patient monitoring skills The ability to schedule procedures & patients follow up Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Work directly with Imaging Tech, Physicians, Providers and Office Staff  Good communication skills  12 weeks orientation/training  Additional Preferred Requirements ACLS certification completed prior to completion of orientation/training 2 yrs. of RN exp. preferred  Procedural and sedation experience preferred Critical care experience preferred Seeking RN with exp in the following areas: IR, ICU, Cardiac and Interventional Nurses Overview Christian Hospital  has been serving St. Louis and the surrounding metro areas since 1903. Northwest HealthCare , six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services.   The Radiology Interventional performs biopsies, places drains, does angio work but excluding the heart, does central line placements, and dialysis catheter placement. Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs.
