Description Leidos Defense Systems, is seeking a passionate, detailed-oriented problem-solver to serve as the Advanced Hypersonics Data Manager to support the Multi-Service Advanced Capability Hypersonics Test Bed (MACH-TB) Flight Test Program as part of the Advanced Materials Department of the Hypersonic Systems Division. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Leidos Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.The focus of the MACH-TB Program is to develop rapid cadence, affordable flight-testing capabilities to quickly advance the hypersonic Technology Readiness Level. As an integral member of the MACH-TB Team, the successful candidate will leverage digital engineering and systems engineering practices and tools, including CAMEO, to identify challenges and formulate candidate solutions within complex, highly interdependent hardware systems and programs. The systems engineer will support MACH-TB system engineering for prototype development and as-built configurations. This includes application of the SEMP defined processes, working requirements updates and change requests, supporting verification plans, and supporting acceptance testing. The Data Manager will work under the direction of the Lead Systems Engineer in application of systems engineering standard processes and best practices and capture/sharing of the data generated by those systems and processes.Primary Responsibilities:The Data Manager will aid in the development and integration of advanced hypersonic structures and systems related to MACH-TB. Primary tasks will include development and administration of hypersonic project data accessibility and data repositories.The Data Manger will be accountable for executing Data Management processes and ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented in accordance with industry standards and customer needs. This position directs the administration of MS SharePoint sites, Confluence wiki pages, and Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (e.g., Agile, Windchill). Assignments associated with the position include, but are not limited to the following:Creation and maintenance of MS SharePoint sites, Confluence wiki pages, PLM workflows for data disclosing, documentation, and organization across projects and teamsAdministration of project data in MS SharePoint and Confluence project data sites, Agile PLM workflows, and Windchill PLM workflowsPerforming data management verification and audits to ensure compliance with contractual demandsEvaluation of Statements of Work to ensure guidelines are clear within data management planningManagement and control of proprietary data in accordance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations, classification levels, and company standardsBasic Qualifications:A bachelor's degree or equivalent from an ABET-accredited institute.8+ years of related work history with data management and integration.Expertise in data management standards.Able to work in a combined environment with a multi-disciplinary engineering team.Practice in collaborating within a team environment.Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.Preferred Qualifications:A current DOD Top Secret clearanceMaster's degrees in data management, database management, system engineering, information systems, software engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institutes with 6+ years of relevant work history.Product Lifecycle Management tools, such as Agile PLM, and/or Windchill PLM.Original Posting Date:2024-04-23While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
