Overview: In Norman Regional Hospital's Intensive Care Unit (ICU), patients are treated for a wide variety of critical illnesses, including strokes, cardiac interventions, and post-operative open heart surgery. Responsibilities: RN essential functions include, but are not limited to:Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment & analyzing assessment dataEstablishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care & implementing careDelegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventionsPerforming additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparationIn collaboration with the physician you will provide total patient nursing care by assisting, leading, and/or directing care with a multi-disciplinary team of care providers. NRH ICU cares for adolescent through geriatric patientNRH utilizes the Meditech EMR system, Mobilab, and bedside scanning technology Qualifications: EducationDiploma or Associate's degree (ADN) required.
