This includes but is not limited to brazing, evacuation and charging, duct connection, electrical connection, etc."¯ Connection and maintenance of data acquisition telemetrySet up reverberation sound lab for capturing sound power data from test units. Calibrate microphone and room equipment. Maintain precise lab ambient temperature during testing. Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. What we look for:2-year degree, HVAC license, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-4 years suggested minimum experience. Background in acoustics or sound level measurement Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as reading wiring diagrams, modifying unit wiring and controls, instrumentation, electromechanical troubleshooting, and modification of prototypes.Ability to lift equipment, compressors, units, motors, sheet metal parts etc.  Ability to run tests and make decisions based on test data analysis.Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel.Ability to operate a forklift is desired.HVAC knowledge and experience a must.JCI employees are valued members of the Johnson Controls family.
