AFCS is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist, GS-0185-12, to work at the 436 Airlift Wing, Dover AFB, Dover, DE. In this position you are responsible for providing social work services in support of the Family Advocacy Program. As the Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist, you develop and coordinate the secondary prevention component of the Family advocacy Program. Serving as the secondary prevention subject matter expert you provide consultation to leadership regarding needs assessment, determining clinical intervention requirements, and developing secondary prevention services. You perform crisis intervention, risk and clinical assessments, case management and administrative tasks to prevent and treat child and spouse/intimate partner abuse.
