Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience is required. • Travel experience is required. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license in hand at the time of application. • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role. • COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Responsibilities: Assesses/reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: Cardiac Monitoring/Intervention Sedation Pain Management Chest Tube care/insertion Medication Administration Pre and Post Cardiac Cath Care TPN/PPN KODA Access Central Lines COBRA Specialized IV Drips and titration IV therapy IVADD Waive Testing Transfusion Therapy Information Management Associate's degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
