Our client, Villard, MN is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills , and must perform methods and instructions promptly which will align successfully in the organization.   Job Title: CNC Machinist - 1st Shift Location: Villard, MN  Pay Range: $23-$28/hour   What's the Job? Set up basic tooling, write, and execute basic programs.  Sets up, operates and programs a broad range of production work involving close tolerance and setups that are exacting are somewhat involved and have a low to moderate degree of difficulty.  Reads and interprets specific machining instructions from blueprints, part and machine drawings.  Performs other secondary operations such as stamping part numbers and deburring during machine cycle times.  Performs routine maintenance.  Assists in other areas and performs additional tasks as needed.  Inspects machine parts to ensure they meet proper size, shape, or tolerance specs using micrometers and other measuring tools and devices.    What's Needed? High School Diploma or GED preferred Technical Degree in Machine Tool Technology or related field preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement processes preferred This individual MUST be able to program their own parts using conversation programming on a Milltronics vertical mill.   What's in it for me?
