Additional Details: Guaranteed Hours 40 Shift: 10 hour or 8 hour shifts, starting from 630-530, with call. Every 3-4th weekend (Friday 1730- Monday 0700) Every other holiday Up to 3 call shifts during the week (1730-0700) Willing to float between the two hospitals in Fargo: Broadway and SMCF NDMIRT General job duties. Types of procedures required: Provides high quality images, to include sophisticated special procedures, through the operation of specialized equipment which ensures optimum clarity for physician diagnosis and minimum discomfort and radiation exposure to patients. Thoroughly understands the operation of the interventional equipment and supplies, diagnostic radiographic principles, including film/imaging processing, quality control, and radiation protection. All vascular angiograms, biopsies, drainages, tube placements, injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, thrombectomy, embolization's, endovascular procedures, central lines, dialysis catheters. Ability to work a flexible schedule and take after hour call when needed. Ability to provide knowledge and be responsible for scheduling and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in designated units. Observes, evaluates, and participates in the educational processes of the Radiologic Technology student. Trained in an Interventional Radiology Setting, practiced as IR tech for minimum 1 year.
