Assist in a variety of complex specialized procedures including assisting with vascular and neuroradiology angiographic and interventional procedures.    **You may be eligible for a $6,000 Sign-on Bonus!    **This position is eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.   Position Highlights: We offer a wide variety of interventional radiology procedures including diagnostic angiograms to advanced endovascular interventions including cerebral and whole body imaging. Those procedures would include: aneurysm embolization, stroke thrombectomy, pulmonary embolism thrombectomy, GI embolization, port-a-cath placements and carotid stenting to name a few. Interdisciplinary team consists of Interventional Radiologist and Neuro-Interventionist, Advanced Practice Providers, 18 Registered Nurses and 15 Registered Radiology/Cardiology Technologists.  Comprehensive on the job training Excellent benefits:  health, dental, vision and paid time off as well as competitive salary May be eligible for a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus   Job Summary: The Department of Nursing at Avera McKennan requires all nurses to practice at a competent level of nursing care and demonstrate a competent and professional level of behavior in his/her role as a RN. The American Nurses Assocations (ANA) scope and standards of practice are exemplified within the position description.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care for the patient.  He/she assumes responsibility and accountability for his/her individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered on his/her shift. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.     CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:  Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota is required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire. Certification in specialty preferred. Membership in a professional organization preferred.   ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT Signature of NRC Confirmatory Order Communication required. Work Schedule Hours: 6:00am - 5:00pm Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  $29.50 - $44.25 per hour   What Makes Avera Special?
