Utilizes knowledge appropriate to the patient(s) age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of patient. Must possess strong interpersonal, task analysis and clinical reasoning skills. Creativity, & innovation; professional development and autonomy encouraged. REQUIREMENTS Required - Associate's Degree Occupational Therapy Psychosocial practice background preferred, but would consider related experience. 18 months of previous experience preferred.  COTAL - Cert Occupational Therapist Assistant (Maryland) L - Occupational Therapist Assistant (Maryland) CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider Initial COTA certification by AOTCB or NBCOT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Communication skills, both oral and written, necessary in order to deal effectively with a variety of Hospital personnel, to comfort and assist patients and their families and maintain appropriate documentation in the computer.
