Work with your team to implement the right processes and practices across our organization to help ensure flight and product efficiency.As a Welder, you'll operate metal fabrication equipment in compliance with company operating procedures using TIG welding processes.What you'll do: Produce a variety of parts from shop drawings to conform to specifications Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications Operate brazing and soldering equipment Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears, and other metal straightening and bending machines Participate in continuous improvement of processes Cross train in other complementary skills to support production requirements Observe all applicable safety requirements Position Requirements: Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and welding process specifications Thorough understanding of tool design and fabrication methods and processes Working knowledge of related company instructions, company processes, reworks process instructions, original equipment manufacturer manuals and MSDS labels Working knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work dayPreferred Characteristics: Completion of a welding apprenticeship program; or equivalent Attainment of trade certification Attainment of applicable welding ticket(s) Well organized with attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills Ability to think outside the box when solving problemsBenefits that make life better: Comprehensive Healthcare 401(k) with 100% company match; up to 5% vested Paid Time Off starting on day one Bonus opportunities Health- & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts Short- & Long-Term Disability Life & AD&D Insurance Learning & Training opportunitiesAbout UsRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911With over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
