Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe CCL Lab ARRT performs the role of circulator assist, scrub assist, monitor and all aspects of documentation. The ARRT is responsible for inventory management, supply charging and troubleshooting of all equipment. Procedures performed using fluoroscopy and the ARRT must have understanding of radiation safety. In addition, the ARRT also provides guidance and communication staff involved in the procedure and supports the physician and other medical personnel involved in the procedure and post procedure. What you will do in this role:You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needsYou will assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teachingYou will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patientsYou will demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for radiological dept. What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateRegistered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start dateGraduate of an accredited ARRT programBS or RCIS preferred2 years acute care, 1 year Critical Care experience preferred or Cath and/or EP lab experience preferredCurrent TN ARRT licensure OR Compact State License (with 90 day grace period to obtain TN license)American Heart Association BLS, ACLSCall rotation required This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).Parkridge Medical Center is a 270+ bed hospital. We are near downtown Chattanooga. We feature comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services. These services include cardiovascular surgery and cancer treatment. These services include intensive care, orthopedic and spine surgery, and rehabilitation. The facility includes a state of the art neurosurgery program. Patients also have access to OB-GYN services. Patients have access to a level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
