Come and play an important part on our incredible team today!What you get to do: As a Food & Beverage Ambassador, Cabana Server you'll ensure a great eating and drinking experience for our guests in a variety of venues, including restaurants, carts/kiosks, specialty snack carts, coffee shops, dessert stations, etc. Wherever you serve, you will: Enthusiastically greet and welcome guestsProvide information to guests on food & beverage products being offeredMake recommendations to fit each guest's needsSupport dietary restrictions, allergies and special needsTake orders in a prompt manner and ensure execution of deliveryMaintain a clean working environmentOperate cash registerMaintain monies and sales information for audit and balanceFollow proper cash handling proceduresPrepare/carry vending traysWorking in the back of the houseDealing with foodServing alcoholWhat it takes to succeed:At least 21 years oldMinimum of six months experience in a full-service restaurantTray experience preferredCommitment to exceptional guest serviceAbility to learn/use point of sale (cash register) systemsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational and multi-tasking abilitiesAbility to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.Ability to walk and stand extensivelyAbility to work indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditionsCompletion of all training, including ServSafe and RCS Responsible Vendor TrainingFlexibility in working varied shiftsPrevious cash handling experience preferredFood service and/or theme park experience highly desirableAvailability and Hours:During the non-peak season, must have 2 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend dayDuring the peak season, must have 4 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend dayYou must be able to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidaysHours vary based on business needCompensation: $16.00 per hour +tipsStarting Base Pay:16.00The perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
