Mic check, light check, sound check! As the Theatrical Show Technician you keep our shows running smoothly! From the positioning of lights that showcase our performers, to the smooth transition of sound and audio, you check all the boxes behind the scenes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Executing live technical show elements including, audio, lighting, and other show elements as directed
Learning and memorizing show blocking and cues
Setting props and scenery before and after each performance
Assisting with maintenance and cleaning of seating area
Caring for and maintaining the upkeep of tools, equipment, props, and venue
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
Assisting in other areas of the Entertainment department.
Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Skills and Qualifications: At least 18 years old
Previous technical theater work experience preferred
High level of enthusiasm
Ability to actively communicate and interact with large groups of Guests
Must have the ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
Be available to work flexible hours and on weekends.

Must be able to take direction, follow show order as choreographed and perform duties as assigned between shows SUPERVISION RECEIVED Under general supervision of Entertainment Leadership ERRORS/SAFETY Errors in performance, mismanaged paperwork, or failure to adhere to and enforce Operations policies as stated in any Standard Operating Procedures Manual may result in injuries or fatalities to yourself or others. CONTACT WITH OTHERS Direct and continuous interaction with Team Members, Leads, and Supervisors throughout the entire park.

PHYSICAL DEMAND Requires continuous sitting, bending, and eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech
Requires high amount of walking, running, lifting heavy objects
Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and high physical demand and color definition
Requires using a telephone, radios, computer and other shows technical equipment
Must be able to stand/walk for up to 6 hours at a time and as many as 14 hours a day
Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs with assistance
Must be able to lift and lower up to 40 lbs above shoulder level
Must be able to lift and carry up to an 80 lb load over 25 feet
Must be able to push/pull 300 lbs over 50 feet over various surfaces.
Must be able to climb a ladder up to 50 ft. in height
Must be able to climb a stepladder up to 12 ft. in height
Must be able to remain in confined spaces for up to 45 minutes at a time WORKING CONDITIONS Continuously works in an outside environment and closely with others
Primarily works with show cast and venue ushers under stage supervisor to assure smooth operation of shows, vehicles, equipment and facilities
Will be exposed to sun, heat, cold, dust/dirt, water, chemicals, vehicle exhaust, vehicle chemicals and cleaning agents
